Greater Austin Transportation Company Selects Unified Dispatch's UniBook System To Automate Taxi Calls
Company To Utilize UniBook to Provide Enhanced Customer Service and Operational Efficiency
Altadena, CA (November 1, 2004)—Unified Dispatch, Inc., the world's leading provider of call center solutions for the ground transportation industry, announced today its UniBook service has been selected by Greater Austin Transportation Company to provide enhanced customer service and operational efficiency.

"With UniBook, GATC will have the ability to automate calls for taxi service. Ultimately, the task of running a dispatching call center is simplified and the cost reduced. To utilize UniBook, passengers simply dial 512-452-9999 and are provided with the choice of reserving a ride automatically or waiting to speak with a live agent. The system is aware of the caller's address based on the calling number. Once the call is answered, an automated system asks the caller if they would like to be picked up at the address shown on the prompt. If the caller dials "1" for Yes, the cab is booked automatically. Otherwise, the caller is transferred to a live customer service agent.
